Residents, Families and Partners:
Here are our most recent updates regarding COVID in our Community.
We had zero new resident or staff positives in last week’s round of mass testing. This week’s mass testing occurred today. If we again have zero new positive cases, we may be deemed “outbreak free” the end of this month by the health department and will move back to random weekly testing of 25% of staff.
The less positive news is that the winter weather on the east coast has delayed the delivery of the Moderna Vaccine to the state. We were notified by the state that there is not sufficient inventory to complete our second vaccine clinic tomorrow, February 19. We will inform you of the next steps regarding the residents expecting the second dose of the vaccine as soon as we have more information from the state.
However, we will be offering the Pfizer vaccine to residents scheduled to receive their first dose in a clinic on February 20th.
Outdoor visitation continues. If you would like an appointment, please contact the Community.
The restrictions outlined in our previous update regarding group activities and visitation will continue.
Even with our negative test results, we continue to monitor all residents for signs and symptoms of the virus or any other change in condition and will contact residents’ responsible parties and primary healthcare providers if any change is noted and to discuss next steps.
Please continue to reach out with questions, concerns, or requests for assistance.
